Aroma and Taste: Superb citrus fragrance and taste – a blend of lemongrass, lime and lemon (more lemon than the lemon). The wonderfully tangy aroma of Lemon Myrtle is used in Australian Bush Cuisine, perfumery and aromatherapy applications. Lemon Myrtle is the worlds’ richest known natural source of citral (90 – 98%). Research has confirmed the citral rich pure essential oil to be highly anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.Place of Origin: North-Eastern New South Wales , Queensland – Australia .
Production Method: Specially selected extra virgin olive oils from our contract growers and high quality essential Lemon Myrtle infusing oil have been used to produce this outstanding oil. The Lemon Myrtle essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of Backhousia citriodora (plantation trees). Gmo free.
Packaging: Our Lemon Myrtle Infused Olive Oil is packaged in attractive 250ml tabletop glass bottles and a 1 ltr refill tin is also available.
Uses: Ideal for salads, pasta dishes, stir-fries, chicken and fish dishes, as a dipping oil, for dessert dishes and excellent for drizzling over fresh summer fruit salads.
